Xanh SM rebrands as Green SM, unifying global brand identity
Hanoi, April 13, 2026 – GSM Green and Smart Mobility JSC (GSM) officially announces the rebranding of Xanh SM to Green SM, aligning its brand identity across international markets as it enters a new phase of global expansion. Alongside the rebrand, Green SM has also launched a new version of its mobile application and expanded its Platform model into international markets.
The transition from Xanh SM to Green SM aims to unify brand identity across the entire system, enabling a seamless and consistent experience for users when traveling across countries. This move is part of GSM’s broader strategy to expand its ecosystem globally and enable cross-border connectivity, while also marking a meaningful milestone as the company celebrates three years of operations.

In parallel with the unified branding, GSM has introduced key upgrades to its products and services to ensure the finest user experience. Notably, the new Green SM app features a modern, streamlined interface and is designed for use across all markets where GSM operates. The app integrates AI technology to support journey personalization and real-time data updates, delivering a consistent and seamless experience for users across different countries.
In Vietnam, GSM has officially launched a new four-digit hotline, 1555, replacing the previous number 1900 2088, making it easier for users to remember and access services through traditional booking channels. In addition, Green SM continues to support street-hailing services, ensuring accessibility for all customer segments.

GSM has also officially expanded its shared mobility Platform model into its first two international markets, Indonesia and the Philippines. This model enables individuals and local businesses owning VinFast electric vehicles to join the ecosystem, operate under standardized procedures, and generate stable income. Having proven effective in Vietnam, the Green SM Platform helps lower entry barriers, optimize operating costs for drivers and partners, and accelerate the transition to electric vehicles and greener urban transportation.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, GSM Global CEO, said: “Green SM is committed to establishing a consistent brand standard across all markets, broadening access to the highest standards of mobility service for all customers, regardless of geography, by leveraging technology and service excellence. This serves as the foundation for further ecosystem growth, expanded partnership opportunities, and accelerating the green transition within each country we serve.”
After three years of operations, Green SM has become the largest all-electric mobility platform in Southeast Asia, now present in four countries: Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, and the Philippines, with more than 186,000 electric cars and e-scooters in operation. Over this period, the Green SM ecosystem has completed 620 million trips, with a total of 4.2 billion kilometers of green mobility, contributing to a reduction of 580,000 tons of CO₂ emissions, equivalent to the annual absorption capacity of 27 million trees.

Green SM has also created stable employment opportunities for hundreds of thousands of drivers, while partnering with nearly 100 transport companies and 11 bus operators in their transition toward more environmentally friendly operations. The Green Alliance Frontier initiative, launched by GSM, has attracted more than 400 enterprise partners across multiple sectors, forming a strong ecosystem that collaborates and supports one another in the journey toward global expansion.
Building on this foundation, Green SM is driving a systemic transformation of the transportation industry, aiming to establish more sustainable mobility standards in modern urban environments worldwide./.
